Topic: Emotions

YBrook: There is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed home in Phoenix and the owners want to demolish it. The community is outraged and the city is in the act of designating the building as a historical site. The owners in turn are threatening to sue the city. To me it’s clear that the city intends to violate the owner’s property rights, but I’m sad for myself and others that such a work be lost. For my emotions to align with reason, how should I feel if the owners prevail?
