I can’t call myself an atheist because it stunts my mind’s ability to consider other people objective. I know a majority of people believe in God, and therefore would have to think of them as non-thinking entities, which would cause me to feel terror. If I call myself an agnostic, then I can consider other people objectively because I can see what they do and say without being afraid. Am I destroying myself?
