I am alone in a hostile philosophy class. Occasionally, I get a positive reaction to some Ayn Rand ideas. However, out of class, the students have no respect for me, even the ones that seem to have better ideas. Should I stop speaking in class altogether? How do I avoid become a martyr while maintaining integrity and honesty?
