I have a good friend who has been accused—validly, to my knowledge—of murdering his ex-wife. Am I morally correct in disowning such a person, or should I try to redeem him?

However, I am attracted only to women and in fact am now in a homosexual relationship; we two women share in common a higher standard of achievement, values and intellectual ability than I do with the man. Who should I be with?
