I have been married for 11 years and have two young children. My wife has become increasingly troubled and irrational in recent years and I don't expect her to improve. A divorce, however, would be traumatic and destructive for the children because in our state she would gain control of them, leaving me much less able to protect them. Is divorce the right choice anyway?
