The Fountainhead… Gus Webb tells Toohey that he’s an incurable specimen of the intelligentsia, that’s all he is, that he’s not the man of the future. Does this contradict Ayn Rand’s notes where she says, with regard to communism, that it “places among single individuals, Toohey at the top of the human pyramid”?
